About Vineyard Barns Gower

Vineyard Barns Gower have been recently converted from original farm buildings specifically to provide high class accommodation for holidays and weekend breaks for couples, groups of friends and multi-generational family groups e.g. those attending a wedding at one of the popular venues on Gower or celebrating a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday. The buildings are self-contained and may be let together or separately. Each is equipped to a high standard with a fully fitted kitchen with a fan oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and fridge-freezer as well as a range of utensils, crockery and cutlery. Each has a washing machine, drying frame, iron and ironing board.
There is a comfortable open plan living area with sofa bed, additional seating, Smart TV and WiFi and a selection of books and board games and there is outside seating and a BBQ available at each unit. All bedding, towels, tea towels and bathmats are provided together with handwash, shower gel, washing up liquid and cleaning materials, starter packs of washing powder and dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls. The site is very quiet and private surrounded by grounds and a large field from which the coastal foot path may be accessed easily via the beautiful Bishopston Valley. There is ample parking onsite and two entrances to the farmyard with a concrete drive leading to the accommodation.

A travel cot and high chair are available on request.

The Dairy

The Dairy is a former milking parlour located across the farmyard from the Stables. It is a detached single storey building, which can accommodate 10 guests plus a sofa bed in the living area. There is a large open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining facilities for up to 12 persons. There is also an entrance hall with benches and hooks for storage of outdoor gear.

There are 5 double bedrooms (one set out as a twin) and three shower rooms, one also with a bath. Four bedrooms and two shower rooms are on the same level as the open plan living room, which contains a sofa bed.  One of the bedrooms (the twin) and one of the shower rooms (which is also fitted with a bath) are accessed by 3 shallow steps. There is a large patio area to the rear of the Dairy with patio furniture and BBQ. All of the rooms enjoy a tranquil rural aspect.

The Stables

The Stables is located across the farmyard from the Dairy. It has its own parking and outdoor seating area and sleeps 2 persons with a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. There is an open plan living space with seating area and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.

The Stables has a shower room with toilet. basin and heated towel rail and is accessed down one step from living area.

There is a large barn between the Stables and the Dairy providing secure storage for bikes, surf boards etc.

The accommodation is ideal for shorter or longer breaks throughout the year. Vineyard Barns has everything holidaymakers need for a relaxing Gower stay and is ideal for a holiday break for families either in the summer months or outside the main school holiday periods. Couples may find the smaller Stables a pretty and tranquil spot to stay over.

The Stables and the Dairy may be let individually or together for families or larger groups up to 12 or up to 16 persons using the sofa beds.

Accessibility

The accommodation in both buildings is largely on one level although it should be noted that there is a step to access in the entrance hall of the dairy but another entrance is available with no step.
